Rénoclimat
Program
Planning on a residential renovation to improve the energy efficiency and comfort of your home? The Rénoclimat program is the one for you. Among other things, it includes a grant for the purchase and installation of a heat pump, the amount of which varies based on the performance, in winter-time conditions, of the system you choose to install.
As a participant in the Rénoclimat program, you will be automatically registered in the federal government’s Greener Homes Grant Program.
Chauffez vert
Program
Want to replace your oil or propane (furnace or boiler) heating system with a system that uses a renewable source of energy? The Chauffez vert program is the one for you. You could receive a grant of up to $1,275*.
This financial aid, in the form of a government rebate, is for owners of residential dwellings or residential buildings with multiple units.
Efficient Heat Pump
Program
Planning to install or replace a heat pump? The Thermopompes efficaces program (Efficient Heat Pump program) is the one for you. It could provide you with financial aid, the amount of which increases, depending on the size and performance, in winter-time conditions, of the heat pump.
This financial assistance, provided by Hydro-Québec, is intended for owners of residential dwellings.
Greener Homes Grant
Program
In Quebec, Maisons plus vertes program (Canada’s Greener Homes Grant Program) is available only through the Rénoclimat program. In particular, this financial aid will help you obtain up to $5,000 for the installation or replacement of an air source heat pump or a low temperature heat pump.
When you apply to the Rénoclimat program, your application will automatically be evaluated to point you towards the grant that will be most beneficial to you.
