It was in 1969 that Refrigeration Longueuil was founded by Mr. and Mrs. Bastrash specializing in Refrigeration and air conditioning as well as plumbing services on the south shore of Montreal.

The Bastrash's had hoped to build this company for their first 2 sons Serge and Alain. This very small enterprise quietly grew as did Alain and Serge who began working part time while attending school at the ages of 12 and 13. Over the next 15 years, the 2 brothers became experts in the fields of Air conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration as Refrigeration Longueuil Inc. became a major player not only on the south shore but in the Montreal region.

In the next decade, the company underwent phenomenal growth and re-directed their marketing campaign towards the entire province of Quebec under a the name KLIMFAX. KLIMFAX along with its slogan "A Climate of Comfort and Trust" became a new division of Refrigeration Longueuil Inc.

Today KLIMFAX has become the leader in quality Refrigeration, Air conditioning, Heating, and Ventilation in Quebec.
